Empire Liver Foundation (ELF) is a collaborative of liver disease specialists in New York City. Since 2014, the Empire Liver Foundation has trained over 5,000 clinical providers in hepatitis B and C screening, care and treatment.

Online training series that aim to build clinicians’ skills and confidence to screen, care and treat hepatitis B and C. Trainees are eligible for a preceptorship with a senior hepatologist

Free CMEs, CNEs and CEUs
All webinars and clinical preceptorships offer continuing education credits for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals
The Foundation is dedicated to increasing community awareness of liver disease, providing education on liver disease to health care providers and patients and providing guidance to those who make policy decisions influencing the practice and science of liver disease.
Our Faculty
Our faculty are leading hepatologists in New York City. Ponni Perumalswami, MD, a frequent ELF faculty member, was highlighted as a NYS Department of Health NY Cures Hep C Champion.
