Dr. Arun Jesudian is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and a Transplant Hepatologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell, where he currently serves as the Director of Liver Quality and Inpatient Liver Services. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. Dr. Jesudian’s clinical and research focus is in improving the outcomes of patients with cirrhosis and particularly those who require hospitalization. He serves on several national committees where he has been tasked with developing practice guidelines and quality measures pertaining to liver disease. He has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials and a frequently invited speaker. Dr. Jesudian has published over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves on the editorial board of the journal Liver Transplantatio

Dr. Gaglio was the Director of Hepatology Outreach and a Professor of Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is the former medical director of Adult Liver Transplantation at The Montefiore Medical Center, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and The Tulane University Medical Center. Dr. Gaglio is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease. Among several teaching awards, Dr. Gaglio was named Physician of the Year by the New York Chapter of the American Liver Foundation in 2011 and has been consistently listed as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area.

Kelly S. Ramsey, MD, MPH, MA, FACP, FASAM is a board-certified internal medicine and addiction medicine physician who has treated substance use disorder since 2004. She worked as Medical Director of an academic center-based OTP in the South Bronx before working for nearly a decade for a large FQHC in Hudson Valley where she created and grew a MAT program for OUD and AUD to 10 sites and 1500 patients. Most recently, Dr. Ramsey worked as the Chief of Medical Services at the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).

Dr. Avesh J. Thuluvath is a transplant hepatologist and physician-scientist with expertise in caring for patients with liver disease. Dr. Thuluvath specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, alcohol-associated liver disease and autoimmune liver diseases. Dr. Thuluvath's research focuses on further elucidating the pathophysiology of frailty and sarcopenia in cirrhosis, with the ultimate goal of developing patient-centered interventions to optimize physical conditioning before liver transplantation.

As the director of hepatology at NYU Langone Health, Ira Jacobson aims to expand and enhance the clinical, research, and educational programs in liver disease and mentor the exceptional group of hepatologists. "For more than 30 years, I have participated in hundreds of clinical trials on antiviral therapy for viral hepatitis, including hepatitis B and C, and I have also led a number of them. These studies have remarkably improved our ability to treat people with these conditions, including the capacity to cure nearly all patients who have hepatitis C. I have authored and coauthored more than 250 scientific papers, chapters, and reviews on these and other topics. I continue to be involved in studies on viral hepatitis, and am also involved in studies examining treatments for other liver diseases, such as fatty liver disease and primary biliary cholangitis."
